Volunteer

We are excited to welcome volunteers to help accomplish our goals at Tabarak Children’s Home. To volunteer, please contact us to let us know you are interested. Our International Coordinator will reach out to you and provide any necessary details.

During your time in Kenya, you will be provided with housing at the orphanage, meals, and the opportunity to be a part of our community.

We recommend that you bring your own water filter. You are in charge of purchasing your own flight, transportation, and any extra expenses you may wish to have while volunteering. 

Duties of volunteers may include:

-Working in the shop to provide income for the orphanage.
-Helping in the school and teaching the children.
-Visiting widowers and bringing them food and/or supplies.
-Helping to cook meals for the orphanage.
-Helping the children complete their homework.
-Playing with the kids and helping to provide a safe environment.
-Fundraising to help keep the children in school.
