Upcoming Project Ideas

OFFICE:

While we currently have approximately 30 children in our immediate care at the orphanage we help support nearly 60 children who are placed into outside homes. Having the opportunity to place children into homes and further support them is difficult because we currently do not have regular internet access or a place to safely store documents and paperwork.

Building an office space will allow our social worker to have access to appropriate resources to place children into homes and take on more children to support outside of those living in our orphanage.

We currently have a group of volunteers planning to go out in May of 2023 to complete this project.


PLAYGROUND:

One of our upcoming projects for the orphanage is putting in a playground for our children and the surrounding community. Our children do not have many toys to play with and would be thrilled to have access to a playground.

Currently, just outside of the orphanage, there is a large field of grass that is used as a wasteland. Our goal is to bring volunteers in to help clear out the garbage and implement a waste disposal system. We then hope to build a playground where the wasteland used to be for the children of the community can enjoy freely. 

This project will provide a space for our children to play with the community members, spreading joy to everyone.
